today, i realised i'm a pretty much dumb person. or as a matter of fact, you can say slow too
:( hai ya!
i need more pig brains and brands chicken essence! oh wait, forget about the pig brain part, i don't wanna roll in the mud. OH! alright, i don't like any thing "brands" :P
ah! i'm talking nonsense again!
alright.
this morning, i went accompanied jas to city harvest's candlelight service over at the expo (hall 8)
there were two reasons why i went there:
1. jas needed a companion
2. i wanted to see the difference between my church and city harvest.
and i found my answer for the latter today.
you see, one thing about city harvest is that they are a dynamic bunch of people/worshippers. just take a peep around! you'll see many people greeting one another and just chillin out with the newcomers. when i first got there, no doubt, i felt a little awkward. however, gradually, i could feel a little gentle touch of warmth seep through my skin amongst this congregation.
i'm not saying my church's youth min is hostile or whatever. i'm just pointing out an issue we ought to be working on and that issue is hospitality. newcomers come and go from our ym. why is that so? is it because we frighten them away? or is it that we simply did/ could not make them feel at home? a smile and a little chat is the key marn! we gotta set good examples for the younger generation (i sound so old). so please, melt the ice within them and practise smiling ya!
ROCK ON PMC! I STILL LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU PEOPLE! as always 8)
really. i LOVE my church.
and guess what! i played mahjong!!! actually, it was more like
kinda-played. lol
